Charity of the Year

Murdoch 1112 charity of the yearEvery year our caregivers and volunteers raise money for our Charity of the Year. Last year we raised more than $23,000 for St Patrick’s Community Support Centre.

This year, St John of God Hospital Murdoch has chosen the Passages Project - Peel as our Charity of the Year for 2011/12.

The Passages Resource Centre to be opened in the Peel region will provide the marginalised and homeless young people (12 – 25 years) with a “passage” to help the transition from one life to another.

The funds raised this year by the Charity of the Year program will go towards the Passages Resource Centre and Food on Wheels project both to be located in the Peel region.
