Minister for Health Hon Dr Kim Hames MLA was a special guest at the 2010 St John of God Hospital Murdoch Annual Ball held in the Southern Cross Gala Ballroom at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle.

More than 500 caregivers, doctors, allied health professionals, and key business partners enjoyed a spectacular winter themed event in support of the hospital’s Charity of the Year, St Patrick’s Community Support Centre in Fremantle.

Guests enjoyed a winter wonderland theme in the main ballroom, with energetic entertainment by Our Generation, while some took the opportunity to relax in the ‘Recovery Room’ late night lounge area with the tranquil sounds of the Timeless Trio.

St John of God Hospital Murdoch Chief Executive Officer Peter Mott said the annual ball was a highlight of the hospital’s social calendar.

“It was great to see everyone enjoying an evening of first-class food, wine and entertainment in recognition of the fantastic work our caregivers and doctors do around the hospital,” said Mr Mott.

The 2010 St John of God Hospital Murdoch Annual Ball was proudly sponsored by HBF, Silver Thomas Hanley and APHS Pharmacy Group.

A Silent Auction generously supported by a range of local businesses raised $6,700 for the Charity of the Year – St Patrick’s Community Support Centre.
