Volunteers
Volunteers are much valued members of our team
and contribute greatly to the care we are able to provide
residents. Volunteer work is done of one’s own free will, unpaid
and for the common good.
Volunteers provide a link with the community
and the personal contact and assistance that would not otherwise be
possible.
We provide our volunteers with an orientation
program adapted to the area in which they are volunteering as well
as:
- Ongoing training as appropriate to their area of
volunteering
- Indemnity insurance
- The payment of expenses incurred as a volunteer upon supply of
a receipt
