Community Homes
St John of God Halswell has two community homes situated at 36
and 42 Parade Court, off Lincoln Road, in the Christchurch suburb
of Addington. The criteria for admission is the same as for Halswell, with
initial enquiries to the Chief
Executive Officer.
The community homes offer:
Homely setting
with residents having the opportunity to be actively involved in
the homes' day to day running- Large single rooms with shared bathrooms
- 24 hour care provided - the Manager is a registered nurse and
has overall responsibility for residents’ needs
- Van with wheelchair hoist - which can also be used by
individual residents subject to availability
- Allied Health support
