Maternity
St John of God Hospital Geraldton provides a safe and
supportive birthing environment where the individual preferences of
parents are acknowledged. In a recent national survey conducted by
Press-Ganey, our maternity service was rated top of all
private hospitals in Australia. We deliver approximately 200 babies
a year.
As care during pregnancy and birth have
changed in the community, we have responded
accordingly to ensure parents receive first class care in relaxed
and friendly surroundings.
Our maternity unit is staffed by experienced
midwives who will help you learn to care for your
baby. Each room in the maternity unit has an ensuite bathroom
and other comforts for your stay. Partners are able to stay as
boarders during this special event in your life. Not all
health funds cover boarding fees, so please seek clarification
directly from your heatlh fund.
More information is available in our
Maternity
