Pastoral Services
Pastoral Care is an integral part of St John of God Health Care.
The Pastoral Services' team is sensitive to individual values,
practices and religious beliefs.
Pastoral Services aims to respond to the unique emotional
or spiritual needs of every person in a time of illness,
change or loss, independent of personal beliefs.
An encounter with a Pastoral Practitioner offers an
opportunity to share and reflect on the events and challenges
of your life in an environment of trust and
confidentiality. We are available to listen, or to just be
with you, your family or friends.
Our Pastoral Services' team
Our Pastoral Services team is available at all times during
your stay and can be contacted by reception staff at the
hospital.
The Pastoral Services department is located on the ground
floor of Clancy House. Our Chapel is located on level 1 of
the hospital and we welcome you to visit at any time for quiet
reflection and prayer.
Complementing the Pastoral Ministry is Peter Roberts, a
qualified thanalotogist and harpist, and massage therapist
Morag Smyth.
