South West Community Drug Service Team
The South West Community Drug Service
Team is a specialist team working with clients from the south
west to reduce the harm associated with the use of alcohol and
other drugs. It is one of our Social Outreach and
Advocacy initiatives and operates a wide range of programs
including indigenous health programs.
Counselling
Counselling with individuals, groups, families, adults, youth
and children through out the South West is provided to those who
are experiencing problems related to alcohol and other drug use.
Regular services are provided in: Bunbury, Busselton, Bridgetown,
Collie, Manjimup and Margaret River. Counselling services are
provided free of charge.
Indigenous health programs
Our Ana Kadjaniny Indigenous Health Program embraces a number of
different components and evolved in response to ongoing alcohol and
drug related problems within the Noongar community of the south
west.

- Yorgas Good Noongar Woman (Women’s Program)
involves drug education, development of lifeskills and
yarning.
- Moorditj Marmun Good Noongar Man (Men’s
Program) focuses on health awareness and building life
skills.
- Peer Education Enough is Enough (Youth
Program) increases awareness, knowledge and skills and
develops peer support and strengthens motivation for a healthy
alternative lifestyle.
- Peer Education (Elders Program) provides
meetings to discuss community concerns.

- EFFECT is an
educational program for people wanting to reduce or stop using
alcohol and other drugs.
