About
St John of God Hospital Bunbury
A leading provider of private health care in the south
west of Western Australia
Established in 1927, St John of God Hospital Bunbury
is a 120-bed hospital offering a variety of services
including acute medical, surgical, day stay, maternity,
palliative care, renal dialysis, oncology and a range of
community-based services.
The hospital's recent $14.5 million expansion and redevelopment
enables us to provide up-to-date medical facilities in
contemporary surroundings for our patients. In addition, our
co-location with the public Bunbury Hospital increases the
range of services available, ensuring the best possible care
for patients and minimising the need for people to travel to
Perth or other centres for treatment.
Extensive services
St John of God Hospital Bunbury is a division
of St John of God Health Care, one of
Australia's largest private health care providers and largest
Catholic not for profit private healthcare group.
Extensive clinical and specialist services - including
radiology, pathology, medical imaging, dietetics, allied health and
hydrotherapy - are available in our Medical Centre and we
have more than 200 accredited permanent and visiting
medical practitioners.
The hospital also provides community-based services such as
alcohol and other drug services via our South West Community Drug
Service Team, palliative care, a volunteer program, an
outreach medical service and a satellite renal dialysis unit in
Busselton.
