Services for children

Small children admitted to hospital miss their families so we encourage you and immediate family members to spend as much time as possible with your child. You can play a positive role during your child's stay in hospital by assisting caregivers with various routines and by just being with your child. You may visit or stay overnight with your child by arrangement. Certain restrictions may be necessary so that caregivers can effectively carry out treatment. Caregivers will discuss your child's care and treatment with you.

A favourite cuddly toy or rug may help your child settle into unfamiliar surroundings.
