Patients & Visitors
We welcome you to St John of God Hospital Bendigo.
Patients booked in for surgery are sent a Patient
Information Guide, which explains what you need to
bring, visiting hours, arrival times and other important
information.
Visitors can find out about visiting hours, opening hours of
the Atrium Gift and Coffee Shop, ATM machine location and more
in our Visitors'
Guide.
Visiting hours at Bendigo
Visiting hours for all wards are:
11am - 1pm and 3pm - 8pm. (EXCEPT Maternity Unit which is
3pm-8pm only)
Rest time for patients is 1pm-3pm when visitors are not
permitted.
In the Critical Care Unit, visitors are restricted to two at a
time.
Flowers
Flowers are available from the Atrium Gift and Coffee Shop.
Flowers ordered from florists will be delivered to patient rooms.
Potted plants or plants with roots still attached are not
permitted.
No flowers at all are allowed in the Critical Care Unit, for infection control
reasons. We ask that you send them later when the patient moves to
a ward or goes home.
