Home nursing with Health Choices
Home nursing care for privately insured and Dept of Veterans'
Affairs (DVA) patients and clients in the Bendigo and surrounding
area is provided through Health Choices - St John of God
Health Care’s newest division.
The service can provide:
- Post acute care for patients who are
privately insured
- Post acute, community care and personal care
for DVA patients
- Care for Work Cover and TAC clients
- Care for self-funded clients
Hours of operation
- Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Weekends as required
These hours will increase as the service
grows. 
Patients are referred by their GP or
specialist, who are given regular updates on their patient's
progress and notice of service completion.
