Allied health
The Allied Health department at St John of God
Hospital Bendigo has grown from a physiotherapy service to now
offering exercise physiology, occupational therapy and speech
pathology.
Physiotherapy
services are available to the general public as well.
The Allied
Health team includes a:
- Physiotherapist
- Exercise physiologist (outpatients only)
- Occupational therapist
- Speech pathologist
- Dietitian (inpatients only)
The therapists are assisted by allied health
assistants, who deliver therapy under the direction of the
clinician.
New service
Our occupational therapists can now offer home
assessments to help the frail and elderly stay in their homes
