Hospital Art Show and Primary School Art Show 2012

The St John of God Hospital annual art show will be held in the hospital Atrium from May 16-27 inclusive.

Programs will be available here soon. Featured local artists this year are:

This year the Primary Schools Art Show received a record 660 entries. It is open to all Bendigo region primary school students. Prizes to  third are awarded in each grade level and all work will be on show at the hospital from May 15-28.

Student art awards to all finalists will be presented at 4.15pm Thursday May 17 in the Hospital Atrium. Schools have been contacted with winners' names but everyone welcome. All work will be returned to the schools after May 28.

Bendigo’s Biggest Winner 2012

It’s on again! Be a part of this healthy weight loss challenge. 200 places available. Don’t miss out as this fills fast.The challenge will run for 12 weeks starting in August 2012 - meaning there will be a new you ready for next summer!

The 12-week weight loss, healthy lifestyle challenge ran from September to November 2011. A total of 200 people (including 15 workplaces) signed up. Bendigo FMDM sisters

Mount Alvernia Hospital Bendigo, now St John of God Hospital Bendigo, has had a rich history since its opening in 1961 by the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood Sisters. 

The hospital sells quality, commemorative 2012 calendars for $20, as well as other memorabilia, from the hospital to acknowledge this special time.
