Our Occupational Health & Assessment Unit provides the highest standard of Occupational Health services to local industry.

Employers are provided with a complete range of occupational health services tailored to the individual organisation’s needs

The Unit provides the following occupational health services: 

Pre employment medical assessments

  • Functional assessments
  • Hearing tests
  • Lung function tests
  • Urine drug screening
  • Musculoskeletal assessments
  • X-ray / Imaging services
  • ECG’s / Stress ECGs

All medical assessments are conducted by our qualified Doctors and include a thorough examination which includes height, weight, blood pressure, reflexes, visual acuity, colour vision, grip strength, urinalysis and full range of movements. Our physiotherapists can also provide a detailed musculoskeletal / function assessment of prospective employees.

Health surveillance programs

Ongoing monitoring of your employees for potential exposure to agents such as:-

  • Asbestos, Lead, Chlorine, Mercury, Respiratory Irritants.
  • Occupational noise assessments
  • Risk assessments

Each employer is sent confidential copies of all reports generated as a result of the assessment process. 

Medical rehabilitative services for injured employees

All medical assessments are conducted by our qualified Doctors.

Our physiotherapists can also provide a detailed musculoskeletal / function assessment of employees.
