St John of God Ballarat Hospital was established in 1915 and is the largest not-for-profit hospital in regional Victoria. It has 196 beds and provides an extensive range of health care providing city services to residents living in Ballarat and Western Victoria. 

St John of God Ballarat Hospital is a private hospital and a division of St John of God Health Care, one of Australia's largest health care providers.

    The winner of the 17th biennial Mandorla Art Award, Paul Kaptein, was presented with the $25,000 St John of God Health Care prize at the opening of the exhibition on Friday 18 July for his stunning artwork, Untitled.
