Dr Mariud is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He has completed his membership training in Queensland where he underwent extensive training in high risk obstetrics in busy tertiary centres including the Mater Hospital in Brisbane.

In 2011 he moved to Sydney and completed his Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery and Urogynaecology as St Vincent's Hospital. He has under taken further training in advanced gynaecological surgery at the Hunter New England Centre for Gynaecological Cancer in Newcastle.

Dr Mariud has extensive knowledge, experience and specialists skills in:

He has particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and is up to date with the most modern minimally invasive treatments currently available for common gynaecological conditions. He can offer women the most suitable options of treatment depending on their individual needs. The range of options includes the latest techniques in endometrial ablation for treatment of heavy periods, the use of the hysteroscopy in removing fibroids and the use of laparoscopic techniques for simple and complex gynaecological procedures including hysterectomies.
