Dr Karande is a Paediatrician with expertise in Developmental and Behavioral Paediatrics. He has worked in the field of Paediatrics and Neonatology for the past 16 years.

Dr Karande completed his medical graduation from India. He also obtained postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics from India before moving to Australia in 2010. In Australia, Dr Karande has trained in Paediatrics, Neonatology and Developmental Paediatrics at various institutes including Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania and Princess Margaret Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital) in Perth, Western Australia.

He has worked at several other institutes in Western Australia in the public and private sector including Joondalup Health Campus, Fiona Stanley Hospital.  Dr Karande has worked in various Child Development Centers in Western Australia including Joondalup, Lockridge and Midland.

Dr Karande currently works as a Paediatrician at St John Of God, Mount Lawley and Osborne Park Hospital. He does assessments at Autism Association Western Australia. Dr Karande has expertise and interest in Developmental and Behavioral Paediatrics, especially Autism. He has obtained the Graduate Certificate for Autism Diagnosis at the University of Western Australia and is one of only a few Paediatricians in WA to be ADOS-2 trained.
