Dr Patrick Cooney graduated from Medicine at Melbourne University in 1999. He then went on to complete a Fellowship at the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2006.

Patrick has been a consultant and Nephrologist in Bendigo Health and St John of God Bendigo since 2007.

He has also been the Director of the National Examiner's Panel for the Royal Australian College of Physicians since 2004.
